50% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot

This Special Edition is a tribute to Tommy, a leader, a family man and a true icon of baseball. Given a simple, yet fitting name, Lasorda Family Wines was born.

The Sangiovese base combines with the intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon and bright acidity to create a dynamic blend that Tommy Lasorda would be proud of. Shaya_Habis_Verdejo

White – 2017 Bodegas Shaya 'Habis' Old Vine Verdejo, Rueda, Spain
Organically Grown

100% Verdejo

Sourced from the oldest Verdejo estate vineyards, some over 95 years old, planted at 2,300 feet in sandy pebbled soils which lend a marked minerality and highly aromatic quality to the wine. Extremely low yields on these vines lead to Verdejo with superior aromatic and flavor concentration. The vines are dry farmed, without the use of pesticides or herbicides, and are hand-harvested. This wine is fermented and aged in large neutral French oak barrels for 7 months.

Golden color with bold aromas of ripe pears, peaches and notes of lemon peel. Pronounced minerality from the old vines and toasted notes from the oak aging make this Verdejo truly spectacular.

NP SOMM CLUB

DavisFamily_RRVPinot

Red 1 – 2019 Davis Family Vineyards Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Organically Grown

Guy & Judy Davis began by planting their first vineyard on 1995 after years of working in restaurants and wineries. They live on their vineyard and share their passion with their sons Cole, now the Cellarmaster, and Cooper. who was just four years old when this journey began.

The Davis Family Pinot Noir is crafted from all of the single vineyards each vintage. Only the bits and pieces left over from the Davis single vineyard Pinots are used and no lesser quality fruit! This is super cool because there is one vineyard from each neighborhood in Russian River Valley, which brings layers of complexity that keeps the flavors balanced but diverse. In some cases, the Russian River Valley can create a blend that rivals the single vineyards.

Rich, balanced, and elegant, with beautiful red and dark fruit flavor, this blend is a perfect embodiment of all that the Russian River Valley has to offer in one deeply layered, complex wine.

Food pairing: Cedar plank salmon, pork dishes, duck in a cherry glaze

Kukeri_RRVPinotNoir

Red 2 – 2019 Kukeri Wines 'Cuvée Ivonne' Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, Sonoma
100% Pinot Noir

The fruit for the 2019 Russian River Pinot Noir is sourced from two different vineyards, one is located on the western edge of Green Valley also known as one of the coolest and foggiest region, and the other is a hillside vineyard, west of Windsor in the upper part of the Russian River Valley. The wine is produced from tree different clones, the clone 667, which bring vivid fruit, 777 which add some chewy tannins and 115 which bring some brightness, cherry, and floral aromatics. The result is intense and rich Pinot Noir with good tannin structure suitable for aging.

Silky in texture and complex in flavor, with black cherries, rose petal and wild raspberry fusing perfectly with an exotic undertone of licorice and light vanilla oak. In the glass, bright red hues, darker to the edge, medium weight on the palate balanced with bright mouth-watering acidity. Long and luscious finish.
