Red 1- 2022 Orsi Family Vineyards Sangiovese – Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
A true California Sangiovese that bridges old-world structure with new-world brightness. The nose opens with red cherry, cranberry, and dried rose petals, supported by subtle hints of tobacco and herbs. On the palate, vibrant acidity drives flavors of cherry, pomegranate, and red currant, layered with savory spice and a touch of leather. Fine, dusty tannins frame the wine, making it both food-friendly and cellar-worthy.
Pair it with tomato-based pasta dishes, grilled lamb chops, margherita pizza, or Tuscan-style bean stew.
Drink or Hold: Beautifully drinkable now; will continue to evolve gracefully through 2028. Serve at 60–62°F. Decant for 30 minutes to soften edges and open aromatics.
Red 2 - 2023 Joyce Pinot Noir – Monterey County, California
From Monterey’s cool, fog-kissed vineyards, this Pinot Noir showcases balance and finesse. Aromas of raspberry, cranberry, and violets mingle with notes of coastal sage and spice. On the palate, it is silky and supple, with juicy red fruit lifted by bright acidity and underpinned by a subtle earthy core. Elegant and expressive of its coastal terroir.
Pair it with roast duck, cedar-plank salmon, or wild mushroom risotto. It's a great Thanksgiving vino too!!!
Drink or Hold: Excellent now for freshness and vibrancy, with potential to 2027. Serve at 58–60°F. A short 20-minute aeration will help expand the aromatics.
White 1 – 2023 Cingles Blaus Octubre Blanco – Montsant, Spain
A crisp, refreshing Spanish white blend that channels Mediterranean sunshine. The nose shows citrus zest, white peach, and wild herbs. On the palate, orchard fruit and subtle floral notes are framed by saline minerality and brisk acidity, finishing clean and lively.
Pair it with grilled shrimp, seafood paella, tapas, or young Manchego cheese. Any seafood pretty much! Do not overthink it!
Drink or Hold: Meant for freshness, best now through 2026. Serve at 48–50°F. No decanting necessary.
White 2- 2022 Cellar Arrufí Panical – Terra Alta, Spain
Made from Garnacha Blanca, this wine highlights both richness and freshness. Aromas of pear, honeysuckle, and Mediterranean herbs rise from the glass. The palate is textured, with ripe stone fruit, citrus oil, and a saline edge that reflects the Terra Alta terroir. Terra Alta is one of Nadia’s favorite off-the-beaten-path wine regions. As our Wine Club Manager and Sommelier, she loves its hidden gems, which remain largely undiscovered by most wine enthusiasts. The finish is long and refined, with a balance of fruit and minerality.
Pair it with roast chicken, seafood paella, or creamy cheeses like Brie and Triple Cream.

Red 1 – 2021 La Ragnaie Rosso di Montalcino – Tuscany, Italy
High-elevation Sangiovese crafted with finesse. The bouquet offers sour cherry, dried rose petals, blood orange, and sweet herbs. The palate layers red currant, cranberry, and subtle spice, underlined by limestone-driven minerality. Fine tannins and fresh acidity give it tension and structure, while maintaining elegance.
Pair it with pappardelle with wild boar ragù, bistecca alla Fiorentina, or Pecorino Toscano. We love it with a good pizza too! Who wouldn’t?!
Drink or Hold: Showing well now with a 1-hour decant; age through 2030 for tertiary depth. Serve at 60–62°F.

2024 Pier Avenue Sauvignon Blanc – Napa Valley, California
When on the Hermosa Pier, the best choice is the Pier Avenue sauvignon Blanc, of course! A bright, expressive Sauvignon Blanc with Napa ripeness and verve. Aromas of Meyer lemon, white peach, and lemongrass lead into a palate of citrus blossom, tropical guava, and subtle flinty minerality. Crisp, mouthwatering finish.
Pair it with oysters, chèvre salad, sushi, or lemon-herb chicken. Or even better, grab some shrimp tacos to go from Tacos El Goloso on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach and enjoy a delicious pairing.
Drink or Hold: Best young, through 2026. Serve at 48–50°F. No decanting necessary. Just deink it, but not from plastic cups unless you must.

Pinot 1 – 2022 Scott Family Estate Pinot Noir – Arroyo Seco, Monterey County, California
From the windswept Arroyo Seco AVA, this Pinot Noir blends concentration with elegance. The nose reveals black cherry, raspberry, and cola with subtle baking spice. On the palate, juicy red fruit and bright acidity flow into soft tannins and a silky finish. Arroyo Seco’s rocky soils provide intensity and structure.
Pair it with roasted duck, cedar-plank salmon, or mushroom ravioli in sage butter. Pinot Noir is one of the most versatile wines with food and it's practically ideal for your upcoming Thanksgiving supper. Cheers!

BUBBLES CLUB
Bubbles 1 – Muratori Franciacorta – Lombardy, Italy
A traditional-method sparkling wine from Italy’s most prestigious sparkling region. It's often referred to as "the Champagne of Italy" and it's one of sommeliers' favorite sparkling wines of the world. The bouquet is elegant and complex, with green apple, ripe pear, lemon zest, and almond biscotti overlaid with brioche. The palate is crisp and refined, with creamy mousse, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. A wine of finesse, easily rivaling Champagne.
Pair it with oysters, sushi, risotto with Parmesan, or Taleggio cheese. However, some of our favorite pairing is fried chicken with crispy fries.
Drink or Hold: Perfect now, with 3–5 years of cellaring potential for added nutty complexity. Serve chilled at 47–50°F. No decanting. And please pour it in a nice wine glass and abandon the champagne flutes here -- It will taste better, we promise!

NP SOMM CLUB
Red 1 – 2022 Frequency Reserve Graciano – Portico Hills Vineyard, Santa Barbara County
Nadia (NP) recently discovered and fell in love with this winery and pretty much ALL of their wines. An exceptionally rare varietal bottling, this Graciano delivers intensity and elegance. Aromas of blueberry, violets, and black pepper lead to layers of blackberry, plum skin, and graphite on the palate. Concentrated fruit is framed by fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity, finishing long and mineral. A collector’s wine with serious aging potential.
Pair it with Moroccan lamb tagine, braised short ribs, or truffled mushroom dishes. Also with hard aged cheese and cured meats.
Drink or Hold: Superb now with 1–2 hours decant; age through 2035. Serve at 60–62°F.
Red 2 – 2023 Frequency GSM – Santa Barbara County
This wine is easier drinking or the less serious one in comparison to the Graciano. A Grenache-driven blend harmonized with Syrah and Mourvèdre. The nose is perfumed with red plum, kirsch, lavender, and smoked meat. On the palate, Grenache offers vibrant fruit, Syrah contributes spice and depth, while Mourvèdre lends earth and savoriness. A seamless, elegant GSM with both power and lift. It's hard not to like it!
Pair it with cassoulet, grilled lamb chops with rosemary, or aged Gouda. Perfect for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner!
Drink or Hold: Delicious now with 45-minute decant; cellars gracefully through 2032. Serve at 60–62°F or even slightly cooler.
White – 2024 Frequency Blanc – Grenache Blanc, Santa Barbara County
A luminous white, showing aromas of white peach, Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, and almond. The palate is textured yet crisp, combining ripe orchard fruit with saline minerality and a touch of waxy depth. Long, balanced finish that rivals Rhône whites in complexity.
Pair it with seared scallops, crab cakes, roasted chicken, or soft-ripened cheeses.
