Boris and Sandi Skerk are undoubtedly two prominent members of the Friulian winemaking scene, thanks to their renowned winemaking techniques with a long maceration for white wines. The area of Carso is mostly rocky and the vines struggle to find nourishment. And it is precisely this effort that makes the plant stronger and, in the right hands, it gives the wines a unique character, just like this Ograde. This blend of 25% Vitovska, 25% Sauvignon, 25% Pinot Gris and 25% Malvasia has a floral and complex character, and an ‘onion skin’ yellow-orange color - the result of maceration on the skins in wooden vats for 15 days. Complex aromas of honey, caramel, aromatic herbs and orange peel. Rich, aromatic, elegant, full-bodied and very fresh. To enjoy an artisanal wine at its best, we recommend you to let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving.
