Ondulé Wines, the passion project of a 4th generation California family and owners of Acorn Paper Products, was conceived in Los Angeles and born in Napa Valley. Their first vintage is a sumptuous Bordeaux blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Freshly melted chocolate and Black Forest cake on the nose open into the bright red fruits of Merlot and black current with hints of sage and plum. The structured mouthfeel of Cabernet Sauvignon hangs on through the finish, with smooth, well-integrated tannins, accented with a white pepper finish courtesy of the Petit Verdot. Well done!
