Domaine Anderson 2018 Chardonnay, Anderson Valley, California

Available:  Only 4 left in stock $31.99
Size: 750.00ml
In Northern California, where redwood forests meet the Mendocino coast, lies Anderson Valley, a region renowned for its ideal pairing of warm days and fog-cooled nights. It was these characteristics that led Jean-Claude Rouzaud, patriarch of the Louis Roederer family, to this remote area in 1981 to begin cultivation of premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The family’s commitment to land stewardship and sustainable practices extends to each vineyard, including the newly certified organic and biodynamic Dach vineyard, ensuring the health of the land for generations to come. The 2018 Estate Chardonnay has plenty of richness and complexity of aroma with hints of preserved lemon, apricot and a light reduction, reminiscent of crushed white rocks. On the palate, savory notes of thyme herb, dried flowers and grilled pear are balanced against a fresh and snappy acidity. Smooth and long finish. 92 Points – Wine Enthusiast
