"A magnificent wine, this blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot reminded me of a great vintage of Pontet-Canet from Pauillac, but slightly bigger than life. A stunning nose of cedar, tobacco, and graphite is followed by a multi-layered, large-scaled wine with blackcurrant fruit moving towards blackberries. A wine of great intensity and silky tannins- another tour de force in winemaking from Chris Carpenter.
