Braschi Campo Mamante Bianco Dolce, Emilia Romagna, Italy
Available: Only 10 left in stock$23.99
Tucked away in the Romagna hills not far from the seaside, Braschi has a beautiful and rich history that shines a light on native grape varietals such as Albana – the first white DOCG in Italy which produces complex whites with racy acidity, interesting orange wines as well as the traditional sweet Albana wines like this one.
Obtained from a single “cru Campo Mamante” vineyard in Bertinoro, the heart of Emilia-Romagna region. Aged 6 months in stainless steel tank before bottling. Yellow with gold tones, this softly balanced sweet wine made has enjoyable saffron and apricot notes. As a sommelier pointed out when tasting the wine for the first time: ‘It’s a dessert wine that is sort of a dry wine.. Wow, this whispers, not shouts!’
