This white grape varietal is known as Roussane in the Rhone and most of the world but in the Savoie region of France the grape is known as Bergeron. Dried apricot on the palate with candied fruit and citrus with an underlying richness. Fresh with a slight spiciness and superb minerality. Serve chilled with appetizers of cured salmon, pickled herring, rich soft cheese, goat cheese or Roquefort.
