This is a white blend of German varietals Sylvaner, Riesling and other assorted heritage whites sourced from the Heinstein vineyard planted in 1954 on the Western flank of Mount Veeder in the Sonoma Valley. Farmed using organic methods. Whole cluster pressed and fermented using native yeasts in stainless steel. Aged in neutral French oak for 10 months “Aromas of orange oil and honeysuckle give way to flavors of salted Marcona almonds and lavender. Simultaneously both old-school and new-school California.” - Decanter (92 Points) The focus of Arnot-Roberts is to produce distinctive, site-driven wines that highlight the nature of the unique terroirs in which the grapes are grown. The wine company was founded in Healdsburg in 2001 by childhood friends Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts.
