2. Fine Disregard Wine Co. Semillon
2017 Napa Valley
100% Semillon
Fine Disregard Wine Co. is the personal project of Mike Schieffer and Kara Maraden, a two person effort. Mike is the Assistant Winemaker for Turley Wine Cellars in St. Helena, CA., and Kara is the Director of Viticulture for Foley Family Wines… “From a half-acre block planted in 1994 with a significant percentage of Semillon's pink skinned Madeira clone. The variety may have a certain uncouth reputation, yet our second iteration of Milhouse Semillon continues to defy those modest expectations. Oak Knoll's cooler temperatures and a focus on picking early give the wine vibrancy and a spark of acidity; encouraging malolactic fermentation and the conscientious use of oak give weight to the variety's distinctive texture. Whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented in roughly one third stainless steel and two thirds used and neutral Burgundy barrels.” $29.99/btl

3. Westerly Fletcher’s Chardonnay
2019 Russian River Valley
New from one of our favorite wineries. This Chardonnay is grown in the Russian River Valley and crafted with care in Sebastopol. This crisp, buttery wine has aromas of fresh baked apple pie, ripe pear and brioche. Creamy and silky on the palate. Flavors of apple peels, creme brûlée and apple strudel. Each sip keeps you going back for another. $32.99/btl

4. Boniperti ‘Rosadisera’ Rosato
2018 Piedmont, Italy
100% Nebbiolo

5. Black Kite ‘Kite’s Rest’ Pinot Noir
2016 Anderson Valley
Dynamic and multi-layered, the 2016 Kite’s Rest Vineyard Pinot Noir is a harmonious blend of the three distinct blocks that comprise their Anderson Valley estate vineyard. Lively violet, rose potpourri, plum, vanilla, and spice highlight the aromatic profile, while the edgy core of cranberry and raspberry gains dark berry richness on the long, gracefully structured finish. “Good balance and a plethora of juicy, ripe fruit flavors highlight this full-bodied wine. It has generous black cherry and light baking-spice aromas, plenty of cherry and sour cherry in the flavors and a moderately tannic texture livened by good acidity.” – Wine Enthusiast (94 Points) $52.99/btl

6. Domaine Lucien Lardy ‘Les Moriers’ Fleurié
2019 Fleurié, Beaujolais, France
100% Gamay Noir
Lucien Lardy comes from a family of four children. He was the only one to choose winemaker as his profession, preserving the wonderful legacy of his father as a keeper of French heritage. Each plot is vinified separately in order to manage the expression of all his lands. This enables him to create complex and generous wines that display the characteristics of its terroir. The plot Les Moriers was classified 1er Cru in 1874. As a founder and winemaker of Terroirs Originels, Lucien is proud to work along side his friends and other talented winemakers to form an alliance, where integrity and passion for winemaking and sustainable growing is fundamental. Pair this with game, lamb, pork or beef roast. $22.99/btl

7. Buty Winery BEAST ‘Wildebeest’ Red
2016 Columbia Valley, Washington
58% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Grenache, 2% Merlot
Throughout the wilds of Washington State wanders the elusive Wildebeest. Prized for their uncommon grace and power, these sleek and alluring creatures roam among the vines of legendary Columbia Valley vineyards. Buty Winery of Walla Walla is the first of the northwest wineries to focus on blends of Cabernet and Syrah. BEAST is their alter ego… wines blended with no rules, where they can create compelling wines with new varietals outside of the Buty portfolio. Combining the rich, lush fruit of grapes grown in the deep soils of Phinny Hill and Conner Lee, with the savory elements of Syrah grown in the thin rocky soils of Rockgarden Estate, this is a layered and alluring wine. On the nose, aromas of boysenberry jam and chocolate-covered strawberries are followed by notes of bacon, cracked black pepper and anise. The palate is firm and generous, with fine-grained tannins and bright acidity adding poise and purity to flavors of cherry pie and raspberry, as well as hints of black licorice and spice. Food pairings: Try it with Thai beef or pork dishes. $21.99/btl

8. Plough Family Vineyards Petite Sirah
