Portugal is one of the countries on the list of the world's great wine producers. In addition, Portugal has some of the lowest costs of goods and wages in Western Europe, so wine is comparatively cheap to produce. That means, great wine at great prices!
Wines made from the nativeTouriga Nacional grape have been compared to fine Cabernets and Cabernet Francs, while wines from the Dao region are sometimes compared to French Burgundies and Italian Nebbiolos.
Join us as we welcome Sandra Gomes Rocha of Diniz Cellars (they specialize in fine Portuguese wines) for a flight of fantastic Portuguese wines. We'll be pouring wines from four different regions to further your Portuguese wine knowledge and expose you to a cross-section of excellent wines. $30/$25 for wine club members.
