Viva Espana- Wines of Spain!

Join us for an outstanding flight of Spanish wines. While still acknowledging the old, they’re also embracing new- searching out new terroirs (fancy-pants lingo for new places more or less), new regions and old indigenous grape varieties that have been overlooked in recent years.

Not only an awesome place to visit or walk across (more on that later) the regions of Rioja, Priorat, Montsant, Ribera del Duero, Bierzo, and Rias Brixas to name a few are putting out great wines that are, to say the least, cost-effective due to their economy which, shall we say, blows.

So check out Uncorked this Friday- Janelle, who just received her Spanish Winemaster Certification, and Mark, who walked across Spain a few years back, will be pouring wine and amazing you with their firm grasp of high-school-level Spanish. And it doesn’t take much to get Mark to ramble on about his walk across Spain on the Camino de Santiago.
Salud!
