Larry’s been a friend of the shop since it’s humble beginnings over seven years ago. Larry thinks “…people take it way too seriously! If you were in a little village in Italy, you’re given the choice of a carafe of red or a carafe of white. There are no labels, no scores, no intimidation.” With that in mind, Larry likes to take the mystery out of wine (although he’s very aware of the complexities that go into producing a great bottle of wine), break them down, and help enlighten wine drinkers to the subtleties of various wines and wine tasting.
Larry was formerly the enologist at Fess Parker Winery and started his own wine label in 2007, Tercero Wines, focusing on Rhone grape varieties sourced from his favorite Santa Barbara County vineyards. Join us in welcoming Larry and his awesome wines to the tasting room at Uncorked this Friday.
