An Eveneing of Kieu Hoang Wines

If you’ve been to Uncorked lately, you’ve probably had a taste of one of our favorite “new” wineries to come on the scene. In 2014, Kieu Hoang purchased the Robert Mondavi estate in Carneros/Napa, and has carried on the tradition of making elegant wines at one of the most respected and renowned wineries in the world. 

 

Before that, Mr. Hoang’s life work was focused in the health and wellness industry, working to improve the quality of life for humankind. Studying Red wine in particular caught his attention and in his research he found that good healthy cells did not just exist in human plasma but also in red wine and that a small grape has 5000 more genes than a human being. He applied some of his findings to winemaking, and in tests Kieu Hoang Wines showed the highest level of High Density Lipoprotein among more than 100 tested items.

 

Healthy wine? We’re all for that! By the way, Kieu Hoang wines are tasty as well, a testament to the pedigree of his winery, and the winemaking skills of Charles Hendricks, a UC Davis viticulture graduate and renowned Napa and Sonoma winemaker for over 20 years.
