Red 1- 2022 Seamus Merlot Ghisla Vineyard, Sonoma Valley -Expect ripe flavors like black cherry, plum, and currant. Séamus wines are known for deep chocolate and mocha notes alongside the fruit. A full-bodied wine with good acidity to keep it from being flabby, offering a long finish.
Pair it with hard aged cheeses, hearty stews, roasted meats & vegetables.

Red 2 - 2023 Podere Canalino Rosso di Toscana, Montalcino, Tuscany
Made from sangiovese vineyards in Montalcino, this is an approachable, people pleaser for red wine lovers, the unoaked offering from the Brunello producer Canalino. It has notes of cherry, with hints of black pepper and toast. This wine is fresh, fruity and balanced with soft tannins and a pleasant clean finish. Steps from the historic center of Montalcino, going northeast, right outside the 'Burelli Gate', you find the sangiovese vineyards and winery of Podere Canalino. This small family run estate, with total 12K bottle production, makes exclusively sangiovese wines, from Brunello di Montalcino DOCG to Rosso di Montalcino to a Rosso Toscana IGT using natural methods, farming organically, without herbicides, pesticides and synthesis treatment, and using native yeast fermentation. Their vineyards have a diverse habitat with berries, aromatic herbs, flowers and olive trees that grow amidst the vines.
Pair it with This wine pairs well with beef roasts and most salty appetizers. Another fabulous choice for Holiday meals.

White 1 – 2022 Thaya Riesling, Moravia, Czech Republic
From the moment the bottle is opened, Thaya Dry Riesling Natural Wine captivates the senses. On the nose, there’s a delightful medley of lemon Ricola, vanilla, and chai spice, underpinned by a distinct minerality that reflects the chalky soils of Havraníky. These aromas are both comforting and intriguing, inviting further exploration. The wine delivers juicy acidity that perfectly balances its citrus notes. The interplay of freshness and complexity creates a dynamic tasting experience, with each sip revealing new layers of flavor. The vibrant acidity, coupled with the wine’s natural texture, ensures a crisp and satisfying finish that lingers pleasantly.

A silky bright, luscious wine with ripe peach flavors and tropical notes. The nose reveals bright floral aromas while mineral notes express the ancient coastal terroir of the vineyard. This structured and well-balanced wine shows a lengthy finish.
Pair it with - A medium to full-bodied white that stands out with beautiful aromas, Always excellent for grilled seafood, light spicy pasta dishes and robust creamy cheeses.
Drink or Hold: Drinks great now but can age 5 plus years. Serve at 52–58°F.

Red 1 – 2022 The Rose and The Silver Bell Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles
A new, boutique wine featuring dark fruit, oak, and unique storytelling, linked to a romantic narrative and described as bold, rich, and unforgettable, representing a collaboration between maverick winemakers inspired by poetry. It's a debut vintage (2022) from a brand focused on evoking emotion and deep flavors, highlighting Paso Robles' innovation in producing robust Cabernet. Blackberry, chocolate-raspberry, espresso roast coffee, au jus, cardamom, cigar box, new leather, dense, youthful tannin, persistent finish.

2023 The Vice Elise Chardonnay, napa Valley, California
Nutty with notes of crushed apple and lemon pith, this subtle Chardonnay offers lighter flavors and a moderate finish. This third batch of Chardonnay was crafted in a traditional Burgundian style for the modern enthusiast. Melon, Asian pear and golden apple dominates the nose with hints of buttered popcorn and citrus blossom. Corn on the cob and walnut flavors lead the entrance while tangerine, lemon curd and vanilla make way for the silky, lengthy finish.
Pair it with Baked Brie with carmelized apples or pears, chèvre and beet salad, or lemon-herb chicken.
Drink or Hold: Best through 2030. Serve at 48–60°F.

Pinot 2 – 2021 Tread Pinot Noir, La Encantada Vineyard, Santa Rita Hills
From the Zaca Mesa Family Winery. The nose alone is captivating with its core notes of hibiscus tea, raspberry, and Bing cherry. Earthy notes of forest floor are accented by mineral notes of a fresh mountain spring as pure as melted snow. The palate is vibrant, bursting with vividly tart red fruits. A sprinkle of nutmeg and clove add a further delightful dimension. There is a final thread of acidity that lengthens the palate and provides exceptional balance and freshness to this gem of a wine.
Pair it with cedar plank salmon, charcuterie, roasted chicken, or Gruyère tart.
Drink or Hold: For optimal enjoyment, we suggest affording 10-30 minutes of aeration before serving it cool (58°-62° F). This Pinot will mature through 2031.
ORGANIC CLUB
Red 1 – 2020 Michi Lorenz Zweigelt, Sausal, Austria
The organic and biodynamically farmed fruit was handpicked from estate hillside vineyards 400 meters above sea level in Sausal. Soils are red schist and loam. The wine underwent native yeast fermentation. After 25 days of maceration on the skins, the wine aged in a combination of stainless-steel tanks and oak barrels with very minimal sulfites added.
The first sniff of this quaffable Zweigelt natural wine is amarena cherries which then leads to vanilla and spice. In the mouth it is fresh with fruit that hides behind the structure and chalky tannins. It has nice texture and a medium slightly bitter finish. It is easy drinking and pairs great with hamburgers.
Pair it with Charcuterie and appetizers, hard aged cheeses

Red 2 - 2023 Foligodia Ascolati Vino Rosso, Lombardy, Italy
A fun and fruit-forward red wine, Ascoltati offers an immediate burst of juicy strawberry and floral notes, reminiscent of fresh strawberry juice and a hint of lavender. With a medium acidity and very low tannins, this "glou glou" style wine is deliciously drinkable but still finishes clean with a distinct mineral character. This low-alcohol blend of Merlot, Rondinella, and other grapes is a perfect wine for any occasion and is particularly refreshing when served chilled. the big and over-extracted style of old-school Spanish Garnacha. Fresh and spicy, with layers of complexity that lure us back for more. On the nose, there's a bouquet of ripe plums, vegetal notes, tart cherry, and a hint of pine, inviting you to delve deeper. On the palate, the vibrant flavours of fresh fruit, earthy undertones, and bright acidity come together to create a truly memorable experience.

Bubbles 1 – Carnival Solera Brut
Known for its fun, festive branding with Southern charm, using the solera method (a fractional blending system) to create complex, layered sparkling wines like their "Lagniappe Solera Brut" or other Bruts, often featuring notes of tropical fruits, baked apples, and spice. It's a California-made sparkling wine, (not from the cruise line!), offering a balanced, full-bodied experience with complexity from reserve wines. h. Bonus points for being organic pioneer in a very conventional region. The perfect all-purpose classic bubble for everything holiday.
Pair it with sushi, raw oysters, shellfish, vegetable tartare, fruit, and chocolate desserts.

NP SOMM CLUB
Red 1 – 2020 Ruggeri Corsini Barolo Bussia, Monforte d'Alba, Piemonte, Italy
Podere (farm) Ruggeri (Nicola’s mother’s surname) Corsini (name of hamlet) is a small family domaine of 30 acres tucked in the valley that unfurls to the north behind Monforte d’Alba. Nicola has a PhD in vine disease and etymology, his wife Loredana has a master’s in viticulture, and their daughters are taking over the operation as they finish their own schooling. They make traditional wines of great value. Dramatic with a dark prole and scents of iron and balsamic. The firm palate offers ripe black cherry, espresso and clove. Great balance and grip on the long finish.
Pair it with hard aged cheese and cured meats. Moroccan lamb with red currant or sour cheery cous cous, braised short ribs, or truffled mushroom dishes. Also, Chicken Spezzatino.
Drink or Hold: The 2020 vintage is excellent. Drink now with 1 hour decant; age through 2035. Serve at 60–65°F.
Red 2 – 2019 Terreno Chianti Classico Reserva Bonille di Sopra, Chianti, Tuscany
(Sangiovese with roughly 10% Colorino and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon) This comes from Le Bonille high on the eastern flank of the Greve Valley. Alberese and other calcareous soils, with some galestro and clay. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates, and a second sorting is done at the cellar. All lots and clones are micro-fermented spontaneously and separately in open-top fermenters. Elevage goes for two years in 24hl casks, followed by at least one year in bottle before release. No fining and bottled with a light filtration. ~650 cases.
Inviting aromas of ripe cherries, forest berries and peppery spices with a taste of finely preserved fruit and hints of chocolate and tobacco. Full-bodied, age-worthy, with a marked freshness and elegant tannins.
Pair it with - Pasta with Bolognese sauce. Tuscan rib roast. Steak Fiorentina. Oso Bucco absolutely!
Drink or Hold: Drink now or cellar through 2035 and beyond. Serve at 60–65°F.

Pair it with Excellent with chicken in white wine sauce, sauerkraut, pork sausages, or other regional dishes.
